A space and aviation company in China has released tickets for a space tourism expedition planned for 2027.
According to Fins.az local media, two tickets were sold for 1.5 million yuan ($210,000) each on the evening of October 27 on the "Taobao" e-commerce site. Deep Blue Aerospace, headquartered in China's Jiangsu Province, became the first company to sell tickets for space tourism in the country.
The company, which aims to organize a suborbital rocket expedition in 2027, promises that in the fifth minute of this planned 12-minute trip, passengers will be able to see themselves losing the sense of weight, taking them out of the atmosphere into space. The company plans to sell more tickets for next November's expedition.
