Taking into account the fascinating nature and tourism opportunities of Lachin, special attention is being paid to the establishment of tourism infrastructure in the region. The Lachin cable car, created for this purpose, will be located in the Boulevard area of the city and will consist of two parts.
That very important social and infrastructure projects are being implemented in Lachin, which was restored in a short time after being liberated from occupation. Special attention is being paid to tourism infrastructure.
Tural Orujov, press secretary of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, said in an interview that the height of the cable car will be 300 meters, the length of its line will be 1,720 meters, and the travel time will be 6 minutes.
According to him, the cable car, consisting of a total of 17 cabins, will be able to serve 800 passengers per hour. Each cabin is for 10 people. Eight cabins are designed as standard. At the same time, 6 cabins will have special places for bicycles, and 3 cabins will have special places for wheelchairs. There are 8 stops on the cable car.
The Boulevard area, where the cable car is located, is nearly 2 kilometers long and is today one of the favorite places of both local residents and tourists.
