Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will start operating direct flights on the new Baku-Tabriz-Baku route starting September 3.
Flights on the new route will be operated twice a week - on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Tabriz is known for its ancient history, architectural monuments, museums, and rich cultural heritage. The opening of the Baku-Tabriz-Baku route will further expand travel opportunities between Azerbaijan and Iran.
Also, from September 1, 2025, AZAL will resume regular flights to the capital of Iran, Tehran. Flights on the Baku-Tehran-Baku route will be operated four times a week - on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Air tickets can be purchased from the official website, the airline's mobile application, as well as from AZAL ticket offices and accredited agencies.
