With the support of the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, a familiarization trip to our country was organized for representatives of leading tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
As part of the trip, B2B (business-to-business) meetings were held with the participation of nearly 50 members of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agencies Association engaged in inbound tourism, as well as more than 60 hotel representatives.
During the visit, representatives of tourism companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, in addition to exploring the tourist attractions of Baku, also visited Shamakhi and Basgal. They became acquainted with tourism products, hotels, existing tourism infrastructure, and services offered, including beach tourism along the Caspian Sea coast.
In the first half of 2025, more than 68,000 foreign visitors from these two countries traveled to Azerbaijan, which represents a 15% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Currently, direct flights are operated from 4 cities in Kazakhstan and 2 cities in Uzbekistan.
