İn Baku was held national conference. On May 2-3, the First Tour Operators Forum of member states of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (OEC) was organized by the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Organization for Economic Cooperation. Representatives of the tourism industry from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan participated in the forum.
On May 2, on the first day of the forum at the Park Inn Hotel, along with the opening panel entitled "Tourism in the IAEA Region: Opportunities and Problems," "Silk Roads through the Middle East and West Asia: Rebuilding the Historical Silk Road" transportation route with basic organizational details, "Promoting and conditioning regular acquaintance trips from IAEA countries to destination stations in Azerbaijan" and "Preparing and implementing IAEA Tour Packages panel discussions on topics such as "Conduct."
On May 3, the “Radisson Hotel Baku” hosted B2B(business) format cooperation meetings.
Representatives of the Eratur Tourism Agency also attended the meetings. Forums contribute significantly to the development of Azerbaijani tourism as well as tourism companies.
