The Fourth General Assembly of the Azerbaijani Tourism Agency was held on "Preparation for the Summer Season."
The development of cooperation between the private sector, the expansion of relations with industrial entities, the promotion of the country's tourism opportunities in foreign markets, and the improvement of tourist attractiveness and service quality were discussed at the Fourth General Assembly of the Association of Azerbaijani Tourism Agents on May 14.
Speaking at the Assembly, the chairman of the ATAA Governing Body, Heavenly Khoratov, noted that the main activities of the Association of Azerbaijani Tourism Agents, which unites 170 tourism companies around it, are based on the development of the country's tourism, the protection and support of members' rights, the recognition of Azerbaijan as an attractive tourism destination abroad, and the increase in tourist flows to the country. He pointed out that in recent years, ATAA has held nearly 300 meetings with various government agencies and organizations, airlines, international partners, and bilateral and multilateral discussions on the reconstruction and development of the country's tourism.
