Tourist flow to Pamukkale, one of the world's most mysterious regions, is increasing.

Tourism center, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, has been visited by 37 million 401 thousand 110 tourists since 2000.
Pamukkale, one of the most famous tourist centers of the country, distinguished by its mysterious beauty, attracts great interest from foreigners every season of the year. Visitors from all over the world spend time immersed in history in the 2200-year-old Hierapolis Ancient City, distinguished by its unique travertines.
In terms of appearance, this place, which resembles cotton as its name suggests, attracts the attention of visitors with its springs bubbling from the ground, the ancient city of Hierapolis, and the Cleopatra Pool. The ancient city's bath-basilica, theater, Temple of Apollo, water canals, and churches combine the natural beauty of the region with its historical heritage.
There has been a significant increase in the number of tourists visiting Pamukkale, especially in recent years.
Although the number of visitors to Pamukkale decreased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this number has started to increase again since 2021. Thus, in 2020, 625,210 people visited
1 million 200 thousand 650 tourists visited Pamukkale in 2021, and this figure increased to 2 million 445 thousand 733 last year. During the first two months of this year, 173 thousand 622 tourists visited Pamukkale.
